Islam: Another peaceful religion or a cult of terror? You decide. |

The Netherlands
After World War 2, Saudi-Arabia (most prominent country of Islam) and other Islamic countries who allied with the Nazis lost support from the Nazis (as you can read in our article about Serbia). These Islamic countries (which are almost all oil rich) began to finance massive Muslim immigration to the west (USA and Europe) who desperately sought for foreign employees. The result of that is that currently there are millions and millions of Muslims in Europe (in France alone there are over 5 million Muslims). Islam is about squatting of non-Muslim land, fighting and killing of non-Muslims, and terrorism against non-Muslims, as the Koran (Islam's holy book) shows what Islam teaches; here are a few verses from the Koran: Koran 8:7 “Allah wished to confirm the truth by His words: ‘Wipe the infidels [non-Muslims] out to the last.’” Koran 8:39 “So, fight them till all opposition ends and the only religion is Islam.” Koran 8:59 “The infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them. They are your enemy and Allah’s enemy.” Koran 8:60 “Prepare against them [non-Muslims] whatever arms and cavalry you can muster that you may strike terror in the enemies of Allah [non-Muslims], and others besides them not known to you. Whatever you spend in Allah’s Cause will be repaid in full, and no wrong will be done to you.” Koran 9:5 “When the sacred forbidden months for fighting are past, fight and kill disbelievers [non-Muslims] wherever you find them, take them captive, beleaguer them, and lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war”
Dutch prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende is a major supporter of Turkey and their attempts to get in the EU (European Union) and claims that Islam is not the problem and should not stand in the way for Turkey to enter the EU. "Islam is not the problem. Muslims, Christians and people with another faith can live very well together. " Balkenende said in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Islam teaches otherwise: "The unbelievers [non-Muslims] are your inveterate foe." [Koran: 4:101 ]. Islam was invented as a tool for Arab/Muslim imperialism. It's not just "another religion". Mohammad (Islam's founder) needed an instrument of control to take over the known world. Anyone that doesn't understand this is incapable of comprehending human history and it's motivating forces. Islam teaches Muslims to conquer the land of the non-Muslims: [Koran: 33.27] And
He made you heirs to their land and their dwellings and their property, and (to)
a land which you have not yet trodden, and Allah has power over all things. [Koran 21:44] Do they see Us advancing, gradually reducing the land (in their control), curtailing its borders on all sides? It is they who will be overcome. Islam teaches Muslims not to seek peace, here's a verse in the Koran that shows that: [Koran: 47.35] And be not slack so as to cry for peace and you have the upper hand, and Allah is with you, and He will not bring your deeds to naught. Here's another one: "Muslims, do not make friends with any but your own people." [Koran: 5:51]. Please click here to read our Introduction to Islam article for more evidence that Islam teaches terrorism. Islamic Terrorism in Europe is not new. In East Europe countries like Serbia has suffered Islamic terrorism for over 500 years (click here to read our article about Serbia) but in West Europe (which has aided Islamic terrorism alongside the USA against East Europe for years (1999 bombings of NATO on Serbia is one example)) Islamic terrorism has just began just like in Kosovo, Chechnya, "Palestine", Kashmir, Aceh, and all those other places where Muslims either squatted or came to live, became a majority and used terrorism to support their claims that it is their land and that Islamic law (Shariah) must be implanted in the government. One of the worst cases of Islamic terrorism in West Europe is the Netherlands, France and Spain. The Netherlands (bordered with Nazi-Germany) is one of the most liberal countries in the world and was the first country to legalise gay marriages, regulate prostitution, approve and control euthanasia, and tolerate the over-the-counter sale of marijuana. But the Netherlands has one of the biggest percentages of Muslim populations in Europe together with France but the Netherlands has at the moment over 600 mosques which is much more than any other European country, even more than Canada which is the second largest country in the world and the Netherlands is one of the smallest countries in Europe.
The Netherlands is as always vague and reticent about its problems and for that reason not much not is known about Islam in the Netherlands except when it makes headlines in the rest of the world. The Dutch Islamic population is diverse. One of the first Muslim
groups who established a fixed place in the Netherlands were Muslims from
Indonesia. At that time Indonesia was a colony of the Netherlands and people
from Indonesia were allowed to learn and study in the Netherlands. However
at the same time the Dutch people were introduced to Islam.
As a result the Islamic community in the Netherlands became a lot bigger, and thanks to the massive birth rate of Muslims and the increasing Muslim immigration, the Muslim population in the Netherlands easily outnumbers the Dutch population is all major Dutch cities and is expected to outnumber the Dutch population within a decade. The Muslim population in the Netherlands of course never adopted or integrated to the Dutch society and instead forced the Dutch society to adapt to Islamic rules, just like Islam teaches them. Not only the hundreds and hundreds of Islamic schools in the Netherlands have adapted to Islamic customs, Christian and other schools did so too. Some schools in the Netherlands even have special classrooms for Muslims to practice Islam, and most of the Dutch schools in the Netherlands offer education in Islam and their native language.
Muslims printed an Islamic calendar in Egypt three months before the September 11 2001 attacks on America. For the month September (see the picture on the right), the calendar shows a Jet hitting lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty as a backdrop. This calendar was spread in the Netherlands (especially in the Dutch city of Almere), the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reported. Although the Telegraaf reported that the calendar caused an uproar in the pro-Islamic Netherlands, no one was found guilty eventually for the calendar. "I am supported by Allah, to die for Allah" was quoted on the calendar, the same words reportedly used by an Egypt Air pilot who allegedly crashed a jet in November of 1999. Some of the calendar's other illustrations show a stone-throwing "Palestinian" demonstrator in front of the Al-Aksa mosque in Jerusalem, an Egyptian military assault during the six-day war against Israel, and a futuristic image of a "Palestinian" "freeing" of Jerusalem. The head of the Islamic school, Mrs. Dekker, had a large number of calendars in her possession from the end of May to the beginning of June. When confronted with the calendar images, she responded in a shocked, startled manner, asking "How did you get this" before shrouding herself in silence when further questioned by journalists. Right after the 9-11 attacks against the USA, everywhere in the Netherlands have Muslims been celebrating the terrorist attacks against the United States. There are countless of other examples of Muslims showing support for terrorism in the Netherlands and Europe. The assassination of assistant principal Hans van Wieren by Turkish Muslims is another example of Islamic terrorism. Van Wieren was the assistant principal of the Terra College in the Hague and he was also in politics in his hometown of Zoetermeer where he was a member of the city council on behalf of the D66 political party. At lunchtime on Tuesday the 13th of January, Van Wieren was in the canteen with many other teachers and students at Terra College on the Beresteinlaan in The Hague. A few days earlier, he took disciplinary measures against the 17-year-old student Murat D, a Turkish Muslim, because Murat had been throwing chairs in the classroom and had threatened Van Wieren with the words, "You'll be sorry". As mentioned previously, also in the Terra College are most students Muslims. Murat D showed up at school with a gun in the afternoon. Don't be surprised how a 17 years old Muslim could get a gun. The Muslim community in the Netherlands is the nation's most criminal group and Murat D operated via them. Murat D shot Hans van Wieren in the canteen. Meanwhile, Amsterdam police arrested on Thursday night a 16-year-old female student, who is also Muslim of course, for allegedly threatening to kill a teacher. The threat was allegedly made on a website created for the public to offer their condolences or express their opinion about Van Wieren's death. I slam teaches that people who are not Muslim are less than vermin and Islam must be dominant over them. It's totally unacceptable for Islam that Muslims should take non-Muslims as teachers, friends and especially not to live in peace with non-Muslims. Here's one verse in the Koran about this: Koran 5:51 “Believers [Muslims], take not Jews and Christians for your friends. They are but friends and protectors to each other.”
But the Dutch government and the majority of the Dutch non-Muslim population continues to support Islam, even if it means sacrificing themselves.
Greta Duisenberg is one of the worst traitors to the Dutch people and she alone is the reason why the rest of the world should be careful about the Netherlands and its people. She is the pro-Islam activist wife of the European Central Bank (ECB) chief Win Duisenberg, who is the most powerful man in Europe (both from the Netherlands). Win Duisenberg's decisions affect the economic future of 300 million Europeans; 20 percent of the world's goods and services are produced in the currency zone over which he presides. He is responsible for the success or failure of Europe's monetary union, a project that is at once the essence and the emblem of Europe's renunciation of fratricide and its reinvention as a continent united in peaceful cooperation. A pillar of the European establishment, he is the public face of the euro and, by virtue of this role, the public face of Europe. His nickname, in fact, is Mr. Euro. On April 13, 2001, demonstrators in Amsterdam took to the streets in support of the Palestinians. Carrying signs equating Ariel Sharon with Hitler, members of the mob--clad as Hamas militants--brandished swastikas, burned Israeli flags, beat a Jewish bystander, and howled for the return of the gas chambers.
"I can see that flag from every window of my house," Greta said at the time. Of course, Greta's intention of that flag was to harass her neighbor, Rosa van der Wieken, a Jewish physician and member of the city council, was not pleased by the sight of the Palestinian flag. In June, Greta Duisenberg founded "Stop the Occupation," an organization that calls for the imposition of economic sanctions on Israel. Even though Muslims have occupied the Israeli terrorists of Gaza and the West Bank (Judea and Samaria), she slammed Israel's refusal to give land to the terrorists as "inhumane" (see our article about Israel for more information) and accused Prime Minister Ariel Sharon of provoking violence. In January, she toured the West Bank and Gaza, beginning her trip on the very day 23 people were killed by Muslim terrorists in simultaneous suicide bombings in Tel Aviv. She had "understanding" for the action, she told Dutch television. She placed responsibility for the attack firmly on Ariel Sharon: He has to "stop all that violence." Muslim suicide bombers blow themselves up to kill as much innocent non-Muslim people as possible and Ariel Sharon has to stop all that violence?
In Ramallah, she met Yasser Arafat (leader of the PLO terrorist organization. Arafat is now dead). Photographs depict them staring dreamily into each other's eyes; they are holding hands. They appear to be rapturously in love. Mrs. Duisenberg announced to the attendant press corps that Arafat "hates killing"; the Palestinian leader is "absolutely against" suicide bombings: "He even told me that yesterday he prevented two attempts!". The truth is, Arafat finances suicide bombings; he has paid operatives, while his office has funded explosive materials, manufactured locally or imported from abroad, like in the case of Iran. In a memorandum captured in Operation Defensive Shield, the Secretary-General of the Fatah office in Tulkarm requested that Arafat provide $2,000 to each of 15 specifically named "Fighting Brethren" of the Tanzim military wing of Fatah. According to Israeli military sources, each of the "fighters" was involved in the planning or execution of suicide attacks. With his own signature in Arabic, Arafat authorized the payment of $800 to each of the "fighters" on April 5, 2001. For more about Arafat's terrorism, click here. Arafat is together with Osama Bin Ladin one of the biggest terrorists ever, he is not only waging war against Israel and Jews (like Hitler) but also against Christians and other non-Muslims. Greta Duisenberg's homeland (the Netherlands) is officially a Christian country. Just like she refuses to acknowledge Arafat's terrorism, she has never yet condemned "Palestinian" terrorism, just like all other liberal pro-Islam activists. Greta was quoted by a Dutch newspaper as saying that the "Israeli occupation" was worse than Nazi Germany's occupation of the Netherlands, which in fact was not the same as the situation in Israel. It's no surprise that Greta Duisenberg was accused of anti-Semitism. East Israel (West Bank) and Gaza are occupied by the Muslims, which is much similar to Nazi occupations during World War 2. Not to forget that the Muslims were allies of the Nazis (see our article about Israel for more information).
The Netherlands has an enormous history of anti-Semitism, not much less than it's former Nazi neighbor. For a country, whose minimal effort to save Jews from the holocaust resulted in the annihilation of not less than 100,000 of its total of 120,000 Jews during the war, the Nazi's Germany's occupation of the Netherlands is much more similar to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait during Gulf War 1. As for her husband, surely he is cringing in embarrassment, scrambling to distance himself at any cost from this millstone around his neck? Oddly, he is not. In a letter to the Dutch foreign minister, the face of Europe wrote, "As my position requires, I have stayed out of my wife's affairs. But I can tell you I support her 100 percent." Which is perhaps to be expected, as her politics were no less loathsome when he married her in 1987 than they are today. At that time, as the Dutch paper De Telegraaf reported last June, her social circle centered around a left-wing think tank in Amsterdam peopled by activists of various bloodthirsty Marxist liberation fronts, Trotskyites, apologists for Castro, and suspected terrorists such as Eqbal Ahmad. De Telegraaf reports that "Gretta was a confidante of Philip Agee. This ex-CIA agent became public enemy number one after he'd betrayed the identity of American secret agents in the Soviet Bloc. Some of them were then liquidated." Before Agee was deported from the Netherlands, he "asked Gretta to be a witness at his wedding." Dutch Anti-Semitism is not new but it has been successfully kept under the table. German-born Claus is the husband of the queen of the Netherlands (Beatrix). He has been a member of the Hitler youth and served in the German armed forces during the war, and has been known to have contacts with Hitler during World War 2 through letters.
The first Dutch politician to acknowledge Islam to be terrorism was Pim Fortuyn. He was attacked by the the Dutch government for his views and got dismissed from the Leefbaar Nederland political party. He began his own political party, Lijst Pim Fortuyn (LPF). He slammed Islam as a "backward culture" - a view which he expounded at length in a book called Against The Islamisation Of Our Culture. Pim Fortuyn wanted to reduce significantly the number of immigrants and asylum-seekers who arrive in the Netherlands each year, Muslims are the largest groups of immigrants to the Netherlands. He was opposed to Muslim immigrants such as Khalil el-Moumni, who he said refused to integrate into Dutch society and were forming a threat to the country's tolerant culture. He has been called a far right populist, but he fiercely rejected this label and distanced himself from far right politicians. In August 2001 he was quoted in the Rotterdams Dagblad (newspaper) as saying, among other things, "I am also in favour of a cold war with Islam. I see Islam as an extraordinary threat, as a hostile society". Fortuyn said that everybody who was already in The Netherlands would be able to stay. He said that he rejected all violence and had nothing against immigrants as a group, but would not allow any more Muslims to enter the country if it were legally possible. When Volkskrant asked whether he hated Islam, he said,
On May 6, 2002, at age 54, Pim Fortuyn was assassinated by an animal rights activist named Volkert van der Graaf as the Dutch government claimed, but this was too suspicious to believe. The attack took place in a car park outside a radio studio in Hilversum where he had just given an interview. This was 9 days before the elections for the lower house of Parliament, for which he was running. Although there were many witnesses, no witnesses confirmed to have seen Volkert van der Graaf, but Moroccan people instead. But all the witnesses of the murder of Pim Fortuyn were ignored by the media (which is in the Netherlands controlled by the government) and the government. Volkert van der Graaf also never was allowed to express his motives to the Dutch people, instead he was locked up and his lawyer did the talking for him but on March 27, 2003, CNN reported that Volkert van der Graaf killed Pim Fortuyn for Muslims but it was never reported by the Dutch media, as usual. Most likely the Dutch government couldn't hide the truth anymore as good as they taught they would and had to give out some truth. Despite that the Netherlands is supposed to be a democracy and a liberal country, there is no such thing as "freedom of speech" in the Netherlands, even less than in third world countries. The brutal murder of Islam critics Pim Fortuyn and Theo van Gogh proof that. Muslims in the Netherlands have been making headlines ever since they became a majority in most cities in the Netherlands, such as Rotterdam, the Hague and Amsterdam. Most Muslims in the Netherlands are from Turkish and Moroccan descent. Recently after the September 11th attacks on the USA by Islamic terrorists, and the murder of Islam critic and politician Pim Fortuyn, the Dutch organization Attacom for juniors began a national commercial campaign under the title "Hoe leuk zijn Marokkanen?" (in English "Hoe fun are Moroccans?") to change the image of Moroccan youth in the Netherlands that they have gained in the media, and totally ignores Islam, which is the religion of most Moroccans (Moroccans are Arabs). Since the Sept. 11 attacks, at least 40 Muslims, particularly those of Moroccan descent, have been arrested on suspicion of terrorism-related activity before September 2002 - only two have been convicted of any crime and to give you another example, right after the 9-11 attacks against the USA, everywhere in the Netherlands have Muslims (esp. Moroccans) been celebrating the terrorist attacks against the United States. Veluwe was one of those places where the Muslims celebrated the 9-11 attacks. There are countless of other examples. Military expert Michael Richardson warned that large harbours — including Rotterdam — are probably the next target of terrorist network Al Qaeda. He said it would be relatively simple to detonate a bomb containing radioactive material on a ship.
On November 2, 2004, Controversial Dutch filmmaker and newspaper columnist Theo van Gogh (a distant relative of painter Vincent van Gogh), who made a film about violence against women in Islamic societies, was stabbed and shot dead in Amsterdam by Mohammed Bouyeri, a Moroccan Muslim who left a letter with verses from the Koran on Theo van Gogh's chest after the murder. In van Gogh's movie "Submission" (Islam means "submission" in Arabic), a veiled Muslim woman spoke about her violent marriage, being raped by a relative and being brutally punished for adultery (which is all normal in Islam). In parts of the movie, the actress' naked body is shown through a transparent gown — with verses from the Koran written on it in one scene, showing what Islam teaches. Click here to watch Submission.
Muslims in the government of the Netherlands is not new. In of the Netherlands are Muslims accepted into the government and to impose their Islamic extremism like Fatima does. Here's one quote from alderwoman Fatima: "We are here and we will not leave. Get used to it".
Directly after the brutal murder of van Gogh, artist Donovan Spaanstra created a painting of van Gogh in the inner city of Amsterdam. The homage was immediately spit on by (Moroccan) Muslims, who chanted "Hamas, Hamas" on the streets of Amsterdam (the Telegraaf newspaper reported). Even Donovan Spaanstra was threatened by the Muslims.
For several days, anti-Muslims in the Netherlands began to attack mosques and other Islamic buildings, while Muslims began to attack churches. Dutch prime minister Balkenende went to the city of Uden to despise the arson of an Islamic school, while churches are being burned too, yet Balkenende doesn't pay them a visit. Instead, he speaks of "attacks" when an Islamic school is burned down and speaks of a "little fire" when churches are being burned down. A director of the Islamic foundation Al Waqf al Islami in Eindhoven, Ahmad Al Hussaini, is included in a list of 20 Saudi Arabian business leaders alleged to have provided financial support to the Al Qaeda terror network. The [Dutch secret service] AIVD included the Al Waqf al Islami foundation in a report in 2002 that identified the foundation as one of several extremist groups with close ties with Islamic primary schools in the Netherlands. The foundation was also described as a radical Islamic group. Balkenende failed to mention that when he was defending Muslims in Uden, and in the meanwhile, minister Van der Hoeven is saying that extremism in Islamic schools will be fought.
On 13 November, 11 days after the terrorist murder of Theo van Gogh by Mohammed Bouyeri, prime minister Balkenende said at a his party's congress that freedom of speech is good but it must not be used to "insult" religions and "ethnic groups" (referring to Theo van Gogh, who was murdered by Mohammed Bouyeri because of his exposal of Islam). Balkenende clearly came out in support of Islam and its murderer Mohammed Bouyeri by saying that. Balkenende also called Turkey a "great" country, and still considers its to be essential that Turkey joins the EU (European Union). Balkenende has previously claimed that Islam is not the problem and should not stand in the way for Turkey to enter the EU. "Islam is not the problem. Muslims, Christians and people with another faith can live very well together. " Balkenende said in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Islam teaches otherwise: "The unbelievers [non-Muslims] are your inveterate foe." [Koran: 4:101 ].
On 14 November, 12 days after the prime-minister Balkenende paid a visit to the Fatih Mosque in Eindhoven to celebrate the end of the Ramadan (Islam's holy month of fasting). The liberal Jewish mayor of the Amsterdam, Job Cohen, (Islamic terrorists have announced to kill him soon) also celebrated the end of the Ramadan. He was also not invited at the funeral of Theo van Gogh, but he came nevertheless. Balkenende is frequently in the media for his support of Islam. After the death of Yassar Arafat (one of the world's biggest terrorists), Balkenende, called Arafat a historical leader, national symbol and a democratically chosen president, and said to be in support of the "Palestinian" people (see our article about Israel for more information). Of course, this is one of Balkenede's many lies and attempts to spread false propaganda. Arafat used terrorism to become a "national symbol", that's how he stayed in power. Dutch queen Beatrix also came out in support of Arafat. But Balkenende and Beatrix are not the only one in the Dutch government that continue to support Islam. Dutch justice minister Piet Hein Donner said a few days after the murder of van Gogh that Dutch people must learn to live with Muslims and supports new laws to the freedom of speech to be used to "insult" religions.
After the murder of Theo van Gogh, the Dutch government officially acknowledged that Holy War (Jihad, which means holocaust of non-Muslims) has been declared on the Netherlands. The Dutch newspaper Telegraaf reported five politicians who are either Jewish or have criticized Islam are on a "death list" (dodenlijst), to be killed by Islamic terrorists. One of those politicians on the death list of the Islamic terrorists is Islam critic Ayaan Hirsi Ali (who wrote the script of Submission which Theo van Gogh directed). She is the second and only politician after Pim Fortuyn to have openly criticized Islam. A letter left on the body of murdered Dutch film-maker Theo van Gogh contained death threats against a Dutch politician, the justice minister Piet Hein Donner says. Piet Hein Donner said the letter, pinned to Mr Van Gogh's body with a knife, was "a direct warning" to the liberal deputy Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali was born in the Somali capital Mogadishu. The daughter of a Somali politician, she grew up as a typical Muslim girl. In her infant years, she underwent the traditional Islamic local ritual of genital mutilation. When Somalia was plunged into turmoil, the family moved to Saudi Arabia, where she was forced to wear a veil and stay indoors. Hirsi Ali gave an interview to the Dutch daily newspaper Trouw which really set the cat amongst the pigeons. The theme of the interview were the ten commandments, and religion played a major role in her observations. Some of the stories she told were about her childhood in Somalia, such as the time when she was beaten unconscious and had her skull fractured by an imam. She and her sister had been taunting him previously, not wanting to learn about the Koran. In 1992, she fled to the pro-Islamic Netherlands to escape an arranged marriage with her Canadian cousin. After receiving asylum, she made an active effort to integrate into Dutch society and quickly climbed the social ladder. Mrs Hirsi Ali joined the Labour Party's scientific office and made a name for herself pressing for the integration of Muslim immigrants and the protection of Muslim women. Calling herself an ex-Muslim, she documented thousands of cases of physical violence of these women, including beatings, incest and sexual abuse, and railed against the Dutch authorities for doing too little to stop these practices. Hirsi Ali expects to be criticized for her effort to end mistreatment of Muslim women. "Women are, of course, oppressed everywhere, but the oppression is justified by the Islamic faith and that is why I wanted to make the film (Submission)."
In a sense Miss Hirsi Ali is the heir to Pim Fortuyn's revolution, despite being part of a mainstream party and, with a fragile frame and diffident manner, seeming anything but a firebrand which causes her to frequently hide, evading what amounted to a death sentence, after she said Islam was an oppressive, misogynist religion trapped in the 13th century that is at war with almost all non-followers. She also called the prophet of Islam, Mohammed, a "pervert" by today's standards, and "perverse tyrant". She also said that the seventh century prophet reminded her of "all those megalomaniac leaders in the Middle East: Bin Laden, Khomeini and Saddam". Mohammed's attitude had, she said, been "do it my way or there'll be trouble" and modern Muslim politicians were no different. "Mohammed says that women must stay at home, wear a veil, cannot take part in certain activities, do not have the same inheritance rights as their husbands and can be stoned to death if they commit adultery," she wrote. "I want to show people that there is also another reality than the 'truth' that is spread all over the world with Saudi money."
Acting on complaints from Muslims, the Amsterdam public prosecutor's office has also initiated an official investigation into her outburst to see whether she is guilty of inciting hatred against Muslims. Ironically the same laws have been cited in past, unsuccessful, attempts to prosecute imams for preaching hatred against gays, Israel and the US. In combination with her high-profile remarks about Islam and the oppression of Muslim immigrant women in the Netherlands, this has earned her numerous death threats, and she even had to leave the country for a while as a result. Click here to read more about Hirsi Ali.
But the AEL claims nevertheless to be a democratic political party. At the inaugural meeting, the interim leader of the AEL, Jamil Jawad immediately called for the destruction of Israel, claiming that it has no right to exist. The quote is for "the State of Israel to be dismantled." That's great way to start a new democratic party, by calling for the destruction of the only democratic state in the Middle East. The AEL said at a meeting in Utrecht on 2 March 2003 to will hold demonstrations in an attempt to persuade the Dutch Government to adopt anti-Israel policies.
On March 27, 2004, the Dutch Internationale Socialisten (IS, colleagues of the British SWP) and the AEL together organized a remembrance manifestation for one of world's biggest terrorists, sheikh Ahmed Yassin on the Dam in Amsterdam (see our article about Israel for more information). "Just like sheikh Ahmed Yassin is a hero to us, all Hamas fighters are heroes to us", AEL chairman Nabil Marmouch said to the crowd of some 100 people attending. "And not only Hamas! There are more people and organizations struggling in that area, Al-Aqsa, Hamas, Jihad, Hizbollah and more, and also in Iraq. This resistance we also have to support!" And for those who consider the blowing up of random citizens a fascist strategy, Marmouch added: "Who really supports the resistance, supports all of the resistance and not just a part of it." According to him "our brothers and sisters in Palestine" will decide for themselves "how to resist", and "the Palestine people" is not interested in "paternalism from the Netherlands".
Despite that there are about 600 mosques in the Netherlands, the Netherlands is happily building more mosques and much bigger mosques then before even though mosques in the Netherlands often made headlines with their imams, teachings and books, which commonly preach murder (especially of homosexuals) and discrimination and beating of women. Some of these books come straight from the Embassies of Islamic countries, like the Saudi-Arabian Embassy in the Hague. One of the mosques that is currently under construction in the Netherlands is the Essalam Mosque in Rotterdam, which will be the biggest mosque in Europe, and it will stand Within sight of this port city's historic soccer stadium. When complete, its 164-foot-high minarets will tower over the arena. "There's no reason the minarets have to be that high - it will not be Rotterdam; it will be Mecca on the Maas (river)," said Ronald Sorenson, leader of Leefbaar Rotterdam (Livable Rotterdam), the largest party in the city council of Rotterdam. The 1,500-capacity Essalam Mosque will have a separate entrance for men and women (women are discriminated in Islam, as Theo van Gogh and Ayaan Hirsi Ali wanted to show with their movie Submission). In addition to a prayer hall, it will house a shop, library, kitchen, classrooms, offices and a conference hall.
