| FAI Special: Why Do Major Terrorist Attacks Occur When They Do? | |
Posted July 14, 2005 11:00 AM GMT Copyright © 2005 The Anti-Terrorism Coalition Opinion by Robert Johnson: In the aftermath of the 7-7 Terrorist Attacks, in which over fifty two British civilians were brutally murdered by the savage and barbaric terrorists, many were quick to claim that the terrorists had attacked because Britain had won the bid to host the 2012 Olympics just one day earlier. Others argued that the attacks had occurred because of the G8 Summit, which was in progress at the time, while other groups of people claimed it was because Britain was involved in the War on Terrorism. And yet another party claimed it was because of the trial of the Islamic propagandist Abu Hamza, which had started on July 4. On 9/11, some people had claimed that the attacks occurred because some primary elections were in progress, while other groups claimed it was because America and Israel had walked out of a pro-terrorist UN conference just days earlier. In the aftermath of the 3/11 attacks on Spain, the majority of Spaniards determined that it was Spain's involvement in the War on Terror that had persuaded terrorists to strike Madrid. However, why was Britain really attacked on July 7, 2005? Was it because of the Olympics? No, the terrorists couldn't have prepared to strike Britain in just over a day, as the selection of London as the site of the 2012 Olympics was only announced the day before the attack! Maybe Britain's involvement in the War on Terrorism had something to do with it? The 9/11 Terrorist Attacks were not at all influenced by any kind of War on Terrorism. In fact, they were the reason this war began, hence, the attacks on Britain did not have anything to do with the fact that Britain was involved in fighting terrorism. So, you must be wondering what was the reason for the 7-7 Terrorist Attacks? As many of us anti-terrorists know, the Koran contains over one hundred twenty three verses that directly call Muslims to commit acts of terror against non-Muslims. Here's one of them: “Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war” -Koran Verse 9.5. As history shows us, Islam expanded from the Arabian Peninsula to as far as modern day Morocco and the southern Philippines. Non-Muslims under Islam were constantly murdered and terrorized or converted under the threat of torture and death. Even today, this is true. However, today, oil has finally given the terrorists the proper financial needs to expand Islam to the West. As we all know, the terrorist organization behind the 7-7 Terrorist Attacks is Al-Qaeda and its leader is Osama Bin-Laden. Bin-Laden himself is a multi-millionaire, and in addition to this, nearly all Islamic countries harbor and finance Al-Qaeda. Moreover, Al-Qaeda is also funded by heroin production in Afghanistan. Thus, Al-Qaeda is funded by Bin-Laden himself, oil money, drug money, and donations made by other terrorists or terrorist sympathizers. This makes Al-Qaeda perhaps the richest terrorist organization on the planet and probably more rich than certain nations that exist on this earth. This means that Al-Qaeda has the money to buy weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear weapons. In fact, there are currently rumors that high-ranking US Official has acknowledged that Al-Qaeda operatives in the United States have already received several nukes from Al-Qaeda! So now, you ask how is this possible? It just so happens that former Soviet Republics, including Russia and Ukraine are far from being in even decent economic shape. It is a well-established fact that many of the guards at nuclear and military facilities can be bribed. Put two and two together and you know that Al-Qaeda can easily have obtained several nukes and indeed it has: 40 according to some reports. Given the fact that the American-Mexican border is very insecure and 10% of the nearly one million illegals coming across the border every year are not Mexican, it would be no surprise if Al-Qaeda has already smuggled in through all its nukes, and many intelligence operatives, as well as terrorism experts have concluded that at least some of these nukes are already in the United States. Now, you must be wondering why we haven't been nuked yet. This brings us back to the first question: Why do major terrorist attacks occur when they do? Bin-Laden and other high-ranking Al-Qaeda members are much smarter than we have ever assumed them to be. Suppose 9/11, 3/11, and 7-7 all occurred within a few months of each other. What would be the reaction across the world? The reaction would have been much greater than our action in Afghanistan or Iraq. In fact, the Middle East would probably be toast by now! With every attack, the majority of Westerners affected by these attacks become determined to defend their nations. As time goes by, many begin to take into account the civilians in Islamic countries and even the conditions of the prisons housing the terrorists themselves. In short, as time goes by, many of us grow soft and let down our guard. Thus, if Bin-Laden and other Al-Qaeda commanders would've ordered attacks such as 9/11, 3/11, and 7-7 within months of each other, the determination of Westerners to defend their nations would be far greater than it has ever been and it would lead to the defeat of Al-Qaeda, as any means necessary would truly be used. Hence, we now know why the terrorists like to wait before they launch another major attack. In addition to this, in order to soften our resolves even more, the terrorists like to come up with 'reasons' for their attacks. These 'reasons' include Western involvement in Iraq, the G8 Summit, elections, American aid to Israel, boycotts, and other such things. This answers the question of why major terrorist attacks occur when they do. However, now you must want to know if this means that we will be involved in an endless war of attrition against the West. In the 1990s, Bin-Laden came up with a plan to defeat the West. He knew that he could not contend with us militarily, so he decided to target our economy instead. These major terrorist attacks are designed to slowly wear us down economically. When he considers us 'weak enough', he will deliver "the final blow," as the terrorists call it. This is where Osama's nukes come in and this is why Al-Qaeda's secret sleeper cells are most likely holding nukes in major American cities and waiting for Osama's order to set them off. While one would wonder if this would mean nuclear retaliation from the West, Bin-Laden believes that his nuclear strike may cripple our economy, causing a major defeat, if not the end to our homeland. Hence, 9/11, 3/11, 7-7, and other 'major terrorist attacks' are only preludes which are used for softening up our economies, so that "the final blow" can really be the final blow to our economy.
